General Requirement: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or its equivalent (under the 10+2 system) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Additionally, candidates must possess a National Trade Certificate (ITI) by National Council for Vocational Training or a Provisional Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT in the relevant trade. For Medical Laboratory Technicians (Pathology and Radiology): Candidates must have passed Class 12 (under the 10+2 system) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and achieved a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Scanned copies of the mark sheets and pass certificates for both Class 10 and Class 12 must be uploaded during the application process. Exemption for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: The minimum aggregate marks requirement of 50% in Matriculation does not apply to these categories.

Merit-Based Shortlisting: Trade and Unit Specific Merit Lists will be created based on: i. Percentage of marks in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate required) ii. Percentage of marks in ITI trade (or Class 12 Science for Medical Laboratory Technicians). The final merit list will be calculated by taking the average of marks in Matriculation and ITI (or Class 12 for applicable trades). Tie-Breaking Criteria: Older candidates will be ranked higher. If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier will be ranked higher. Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates (up to 1.5 times the number of vacancies) will be called for verification of their original documents. Medical Examination: Candidates must pass the medical examination as per prescribed standards.
