Essential:M.Sc.AgriculturalEntomology/Nematology/Sericulture/Horticulture/Agri.Extension/Agri.Plant Pathology/EnvironmentalSciences/Forestry/Agri.Microbiology/Microbiology (Botany with specialization in Microbiology)/Zoology with minimum 55% marks. Desirable: Working knowledge in computer and experience in related field.

Recording field observations, monitoring and maintenance of research trial plots, Bio-control Agent production etc. Knowledge in computer applications, working knowledge in data analysis, interpretation of results and report preparation etc.

Candidates appearing for the screening test should bring the following:- 1. Passport size photograph 2. Original certificates for a) Identity proof (Voter card, etc.) b) Proof of Age c) Caste Certificate d) Proof of education qualifications and training e) Publications, if any 3. One set of self-attested photocopies of the above. 4. Duly filled application form-Annexure I Those who have not yet received their final degree certificate need not appear in the test. The number of requirements indicated is provisional and may vary at the time of selection. The Board reserves the right to short- list applications for the second level test if required. Those who have undergone training as SET/ SRT at Spices Board earlier need not apply.
